Shotaro Hayashi(林 正太郎)
Associate Professor (Principal investigator)
He is currently an associate professor at Kochi University of Technology, Japan (2020-). He was born in Hiroshima, Japan in 1982. He received Ph.D. (2010) from the Tokyo Institute of Technology. He started his research carrier at National Defense Academy as an assistant professor in 2010. He received many Awards (please see "Awards page"). His current research interests are following;
(i) Functional flexible molecular crystals based on π-conjugated molecules.
(ii) Supramolecular aggregates and polymorphism.
(iii) Novel synthetic methods of π-conjugated oligomers and polymers.

Takumi Matsuo(松尾 匠)
Assistant Professor
He is currently a postdoc researcher in National Institute of Advanced Industrial Science and Technology (AIST). He was born in Nagasaki, Japan, in 1992. He received Ph.D (2021) from Nara Institute of Science and Technology (NAIST).
Research interests:
(ⅰ) Optically pumped lasing in organic materials
(ⅱ) Molecular and crystal design for optoelectronics
